"...The 501st Legion is an all-volunteer organization formed for the express purpose of bringing together costume enthusiasts under a collective identity within which to operate. The Legion seeks to promote interest in Star Wars through the building and wearing of quality costumes, and to facilitate the use of these costumes for Star Wars-related events as well as contributions to the local community through costumed charity and volunteer work..."

To Promote Interest in Star Wars
While a growing number of people are experiencing a reawakening of their Star Wars fandom, new generations are seeking ways to celebrate their passion for George Lucas's modern mythology. The 501st Legion brings these fans together, reinforcing the enduring longevity of the Star Wars saga.

To Facilitate the Use of Costumes
Some fans are content to collect action figures...other fans want to be action figures. Nothing professes your passion quite like building your own detailed costume replica of a classic Star Wars villain, and there's nothing quite like the feeling that comes from bringing the characters of Star Wars into the real world and sharing the magic with others.

To Contribute
While our organization was founded to simply provide a collective identity for costuming fans with similar interests, the 501st is proud to put its resources to good use through fundraising, charity work, and volunteerism.

She has since expanded her craft by representing major companies and traveling to appear at events as a guest, judge, panelist and exhibitor. Her ability to share her love for all things geek and to now meet like-minded friends around the world is her favorite aspect of this adventure. Even when she is not traveling, Kristen is known for her highly interactive online presence through social media and her Twitch TV gaming streams (www.twitch.tv/kr1st3n).

Outside of cosplay, gaming and her love of all things pin-up, Kristen has started a charity called Heroic. With the tagline "be heroic," the idea is that people will be reminded of their own power to make a difference in the world. All proceeds are donated to non-profit organizations.

Alice Infinity Cosplay
Cosplay Guest:  (Cosplay Guest - Sponsored by Alice Infinity)

Alice is a Cosplay Model with Aspergers Syndrome. Aspergers Syndrome is in the Autism Spectrum. She has been Cosplaying since the fall of 2011. She has hopes of becoming a well known Cosplayer in the United States.

Having Aspergers, she never felt she fit in. She always felt like an outsider. In Cosplaying, she has finally found a world she fits in with and feels accepted for who she is.

In 2012, Alice began making her own costumes. Her first costume was Yoko Littner from Gurren Lagann. This was made with a little bit of sewing and a lot of hot glue. She has since steadily improved her costuming skills and has upgraded to using a sewing machine.

Alice believes in and encourages others to not be afraid of doing what makes you happy. Live your dream.

Alice loves showing her love for some of her favorite characters. She enjoys meeting new people and making new friends. Most of all, she loves to learn from other Cosplayers on how to improve her own costuming skills.

Cosplay has become Amy Nicole Cosplay's ultimate creative expression. Beginning with the long-time love of her favorite holiday, Halloween, it evolved into a fondness for bringing beloved characters - from comics, movies, stories, etc. - to life.

After attending her first comic convention in 2013, she realized what she had been missing out on. From something she only thought about once a year to something she can't stop obsessing over...

Amy Nicole really feeds on the challenge of learning new skills with each cosplay. She strives to share her fascination and passion for cosplay and its related arts. She respects the creativity, dedication, and sheer love that the people she's had the pleasure of meeting have for their art and is excited to take part in this fantastical world!
